Dr. David Flume, a native Texan, attended the University of Washington in Seattle where he received his Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1981.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, 1985.
His psychiatry residency was completed at Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco, California in 1989.
He and his wife, Dr. Shiree Flume, have been living and practicing psychiatry in Austin since 1989.
Dr. Flume specializes in adult (18 years and older) general psychiatry.
He currently divides his time between his private practice and the Access Clinic at the Austin Resource Center for the Homeless (ARCH).
